My husband and I enjoy each other company a lot but life happens. When we were in the process of moving to where we live now he came to town a month and a half before I did to find a place for us to live and start his new job. Meanwhile, I was a 24 hour drive away from him. I packed our entire place by myself, got our cats ready for the move and dealt with the movers. Then drove over 10 hours after the movers left to meet my husband at his parents home.
Then we proceeded to drive an additional 18 hours together to our new home. Did I miss him and wish that we were in the same zip code, let alone state? Of course, absolutely! But we were doing what was right for our family and it would not have happened if either of us had crumbled.
Makes me wonder how many hours she actually puts in. Probably just enough to cover her latest surgery. I feel better now that I got that off my chest. Stepping off my soapbox now and putting it back in the closet.
